Act6 Missions

Past Deployments

past deployments

Spring, Texas August 2017

In response to Hurricane Harvey a small Act6 Missions team deployed to assist in water rescue operations.  They worked with Harris County Sheriff’s Deputies in swift currents and 12 foot deep water to rescue 8 people, 6 dogs, and 3 cats from an apartment complex.

Bousquette, Haiti July 2017

Our focus in Bousquette was a Men’s Ministry.  We led several Bible Studies, helped clear brush along a road to provide vehicle access to homes far from the main road, and spent time in fellowship with the wonderful people of Bousquette.

Kalapa, Haiti December 2016

The first Act6 Missions team deployed to Kalapa in the wake of Hurricane Matthew to assist in cleanup and reconstruction operations.  The team cleared a path to the community’s agricultural area, and brought the community together to begin reconstruction of the shared chicken coop.  The community and its partners continued this work and completed construction which allowed Act6 partner The 410 Bridge to distribute feed and chickens to the community, providing them with a resource for food and business opportunities.
