Matt Blackwell, Executive Director
Matt is the Executive Director and founder of Act6 Missions. He was an Infantry Officer in the 101st Airborne and served as a Platoon Leader in Iraq. His personal Mission statement is, “To serve my God, my family, and my community”. Act6 Missions is the answer to the calling God put on his heart, and allows him to serve his community of Veterans as well. He lives in Georgia with his wife and two daughters who inspire him daily to be a better man.
Phil Rikard, Board Member
Phil is Kim's husband of 30 years, Caleb and Rachel's dad and the Founding Pastor of Tapestry Community Church in Roswell, Georgia. He has a long running passion for lifting those less fortunate around the globe. Phil introduced Matt to the desperate need in Haiti and the two have been working together on the ground there since 2013..
Robert Scott IV, Board Member
Rob is honored to serve on the board of Act6 Missions alongside fellow veterans and brothers in Christ. As an Air Force Explosive Ordnance Disposal Officer, Rob served as Company Commander on deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan. While working with the Act6 pilot team that traveled to Haiti, he experienced the healing effect of helping others and once again being part of a purposeful team. Rob enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and daughter, and relishes the challenge of being a Godly husband and father.
Erik Puckett, Board Member
Erik manages a Sun Trust bank branch in Cumming, GA. In addition to Act6 Missions, his community service involvement has included leadership positions with Lanier/Forsyth Rotary Club and Children’s Center for Hope and Healing. During his free time, Erik enjoys working in the yard, walking his black lab, and spending time with his wife and kids.
Kevin McGeady, Board Member
Kevin has been a Roswell resident for nearly 20 years. He and his wife, Ellen, have 2 adult children. They have been members of Tapestry Community Church for 10 years, where Kevin has served in numerous volunteer capacities, including a 4-year term as an Elder. Since 2008, he has been employed as a lawyer for Verizon's Enterprise Solutions business unit.
